Medro Alternative SBA Capital Program

Non-SBA financing options when an SBA loan isn't the right fit.

Alianza Partners offers a practical path for buyers and owners who need financing beyond SBA. We help structure the acquisition plan around buyer equity, business cash flow, seller terms and the capital the business needs after closing.

Independent, non-SBA financing. This Medro program is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Financing offered through this program is not SBA-guaranteed.

An advisory solution built around your situation—not a one-size-fits-all funding promise. We assess the options, define the next steps and help structure a realistic path.

Acquisition rules changed. Review the full structure.

Effective October 1, 2026, SOP 50 10 8.1 revised acquisition categories and underwriting. A proposed deal may not fit when historical/adjusted cash flow, qualifying buyer injection or seller/investor terms fail the applicable rules; projections alone do not resolve those requirements. Separately, March 1 ownership rules exclude businesses with any owner who is not a U.S. citizen or U.S. national. We review price, equity, seller participation and non-SBA debt together. Different terms or more equity may still be necessary. These changes do not mean existing SBA loans are automatically cancelled.

From financing question to transaction plan

  • Review the acquisition, buyer capital and operating business.
  • Structure sources and uses across debt, equity and agreed seller participation.
  • Prepare the financing and diligence path with post-close needs in view.

Consider the full capital structure

We bring these pieces into one transaction plan and identify the approvals, diligence and agreements needed to move forward.

01 / ALTERNATIVE PATH

Acquisition debt

Assess conventional or private-credit options against verified cash flow, buyer experience, equity and the transaction.

02 / ALTERNATIVE PATH

Seller participation

Evaluate seller financing or retained ownership, including permitted payments, subordination, control and future maturities.

03 / ALTERNATIVE PATH

Buyer capital and assets

Review buyer equity and whether equipment, receivables or real estate can support appropriately structured financing.

The business must work after closing

We assess earnings quality, buyer compensation, debt payments, customer concentration, transition costs and operating liquidity. The goal is a financing structure the business can support after the purchase, including the right treatment of goodwill and other acquisition costs.

Prepare before you commit

A written retained-advisory engagement defines scope, responsibilities and fees before work begins. We help prepare the financing request and coordinate agreed next steps; lender and third-party costs are separate.

Coordinate the business and the property

For an acquisition involving real estate, include Fast Commercial Capital in the property-financing review. Fasty Funding focuses on operating-capital needs, which should be coordinated with the acquisition structure and lender requirements.

Questions worth asking.

Is this an SBA loan program?

No. Medro Alternative SBA Capital Program is our name for an independent advisory review of non-SBA financing. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the SBA, and the alternative financing described here is not SBA-guaranteed.

Can seller financing replace all buyer equity?

Do not assume it can. The answer depends on the buyer, seller, business, financing provider and overall capital structure.

Can every acquisition work without SBA financing?

No. Some transactions may need more equity, a revised purchase price, different terms or additional preparation. Non-SBA financing still requires a credible repayment plan.
